The main rotor takes a log time to spin down and if I let go of the cyclic it moves all the way up causing the blades to dive and mast bump - very dangerous and could cause serious damage. A rotor break would be cool but heavy and hard to implement. Friction would be great but again not too easy to do. Larrys Cyclic Clip is very light weight, easy to do, easy to operate, and fast & cheap to implement.

  • Is this legal in the US?

here in germany the would kill you ( it eventually could block the stick) ^^

  • We still have some bits of freedom in the USA. This is one. If we comply with FAR part 103 rules, we are free to do what we want! And fly! God bless the USA. It's spring loaded and cannot block the stick.

  • I like your videos! In simple terms, could you show mechanically what the cyclic actually changes in the blades -- and other mechanical changes (collective) and how that works. You are an excellent teacher on these subjects!

  • make sure you patent it

  • I've been working for CND army on aircraft repair and they have this kind of system on few aircrafts.
