Every kid should watch this clip in school.
I'm at work right now, it's 7:45 on a Friday. Too many people would whine now. I see it as having a job to finish (albeit I'm stalling...hah), and using the skills I have to do it.
Mr. Juma saw a chance to become better in America. He did. Simple moral, that there's no magic trick to succeeding in the USA. It takes hard work and skills. Anyone who thinks some "higher power" needs to reorder society is a fool.

Seperation of Church, State, and the Market. This should be in the constitution or become a new Amendment. I say when you cross the constitution with Adam Smith's principles, you have the most freedom and prosperity possible.

Our current economic state is directly related to government involvement in the economy, despite the hyperventilating hot heads saying other wise. sadly, most are falling hook line and sinker for more government as the best answer.

My mum was an Indian who came from Tanzania at the same time (the Asians moved from there soon after the Ugandans) and she showed me what her city looked like when the Indians who had private businesses there, and it was pretty nice. Then she went back and emailed me photos of what the place looks like now after the private market left and the socialists took over. Two words: shit hole.
