Barrowman and Pullman were at MIPTV to promote Miracle Day, the fourth season of the BBC's sci-fi phenomenon Torchwood. Barrowman notably discussed how the series' - and hence his - notoriety has grown from the UK to the world. "This is becoming global now, and I'm absolutely loving it!" he enthused. Pullman, for his part, explained how his role in the show fits it with his incredible career, which spans from Lost Highway to... Spaceballs!

  • Is there a chance of seen him again on Doctor Who? I liked Miracle Day

  • Bring it back to the UK - it lost all its charm when it went to Starz; now it feels like a bad American crime drama that just happens to have Gwen & Jack. Oh, and more Rhys! I love Rhys and seeing Gwen’s family life – she’s so devoted to them, but they didn’t have enough of a presence.

  • I don't really care for MD & I'm a massive fan of series 1-3. It just does not feel like Torchwood. I don't like the new characters, I miss Wales, & I think killing Ianto was the biggest mistake they could have made. Jack is just broken now & I really don't want to see him with another love interest. I loved how Ianto and Jack’s story was developing & I’m still mourning for it. (Part 2 of my comment is coming)

  • The funeral at the end of Torchwood season 4 was strange because everyone was in normal black clothes exept Captain Jack

  • @mikeismad61 I agree that the ending was quite weird and that the series had quite a few plotholes but I enjoyed it. Bill Pullman really made me enjoy it as much as I did because his performance was amazing

  • I didn't wish to be rude - pleased your a fan. I didn't expect that it would return so I was really pleased when it did. Despite excellent talents and great care (almost loving care) by the production team the actual story was - I have to say it- PANTS. Far too slow with a silly silly ending. Someone else described it as having a huge dogs dick thru the centre of the World. I wouldn't disagree. I just hope that when TW returns so does the passion and the verb which was sadly missing from MD.

  • @mikeismad61 Of course I've seen the early episodes. I watched the first episode in 2006 when it premièred .

I would prefer that it came Back here to Britain because I don't want it turning into an American programme (there's enough of those already, no offence to Americans intended). I don't mean that I want the Miracle day story line to continue, but keep Rex for at least one more series. I personally loved the series though. We all have opinions :)

  • What? Have you even seen any of the earlier programs? Sorry but the team worked SO hard and the product values were SO high for such a POOR story. I hope that they DONT make another series - or at least not like MD.

  • I hope miracle day continues. Definitely my favourite Torchwood series yet.

  • I would love to see much much more of John Barrowman!! He is adorable <3
