The announcer is absoulutly right. You gotta be ready in hockey. He stood there defensless when he should have been protecting him self. let me guess 2 min on Walker for roughing?

he wasnt in a position to fight at all... the only person in a position to fight was walker when he threw off the gloves, grabbed ward's collar, and took a cheap shot all in one motion

Ward needs to keep his hands up, similar thing happened with Brashear, same result.

How is that a cheap shot...when your in a position to fight like that you need to keep your guard. It's a fast game and if you can't keep up then get off the ice
