Tom, that is an awful looking sportscoat.

True, and it was hilarious how many times Letterman mentioned it that night. I even personally think that ended up being one of the funniest Letterman shows ever... and it also showed that McCain is unreliable and untrustworthy (and a very bad liar - how can you lie about going out of town when you know you're going to be doing a televised interview? [he was asking to get caught])

Letterman was right. The road to the White House goes through him. Lol, Probably one of the biggest blunders right next to the fundamentals of the economy are strong. McCain, choosing to lie to Letterman in order to do an interview with Couric and getting caught in the act by none other than David Letterman. That was probably one of the funniest moments in Late Night Television. JMO...

if bush actually raised taxes to pay for the war, there would have been more resistance in going into the war with iraq, so that is why he didn't do it... Evil

Brokaw is correct, during war, government should ask more of it's people, so that they can be apart of the movement. The problem with us now, we aren't asked to sacrafice in any way. Barack helps us, by encouraging Americans to become apart of the system and work together (volunetter, organize). If we got McCain, it would be 4 more years of laziness. 4 more years of doing NOTHING. It hasn't worked for the last 8. I can't promise this approach will change our world, but throughout history, it has
