His Secret

The hand was raised above his head about to strike his victim. Your probably asking who his victim is it is his own son. Yes Troy Bolton was beating. Jack brought his hand down and smacked Troy in the face. Blood was dripping down his chin onto his shirt. Life has not been the same since his mom died by a gang shooting. Ever since then Jacks anger reached the boiling point he took everything out on Troy. But the time Troy got beat the most was for basketball.

Basketball had always been Troys escape till now. When Troy missed a shot during a game the beating was by far the worse. His dad would hit him over and over again in the stomach, back, legs, and even his face. That night at the game Troy had missed a shot he knows that he was in for it. After the game Troy got showered and took the steps he dreaded the most. The ones that took him out of the locker room out to the gym where his dad was waiting. Troy looked up and saw that his dads eyes were pure black. They got home in record speed Jack speeding the whole way home.

Jack took his belt off and smacked Troy across the stomach with it over and over again. When he was done beating him there, he made Troy roll onto his bleeding stomach to get his back and legs leaving wilts. When Jack was done there, he started hitting Troy in the face giving him a busted lip and black eye. Jack looked down at his son with disgusted and spat on him. Troy was told to get out of his sight. Troy gingerly got up and walked to his bedroom. Once in there Troy shut the door and slid down the wall wishing his mom was here.

He could remember when his dad was happy. His mom was his dads light whenever he had a bad day Troys mom cheered him up. Now that his mom was dead, he barely ate cause his dad thought he was fat. He craved his moms food just her in general. He sat there staring out the window looking at the stars. He always looked at them after a beating at the brightest one cause he thought of that as his mom. He thought his dad was going to get better but that dream had died a long time ago.

He wondered if any of his friends suspected anything. Meanwhile with Troys Chad best friend Chad he knew something was up with Troy. He noticed that Troy had scars on his legs, stomach, and back and that he had lost a lot of weight. Also he noticed Troy was more quiet and that he pushed himself hard at basketball. When coach looks at Troy, it gives me the creeps. I wonder whats going on over at Troys house behind closed doors? Only if Chad knows.
