  • These guys proved that system specs should never be used as an excuse for lack of talent. They have so much talent and skills to put that talent to fruitition.

    If this game was released back in the days of MSX 1, this would certainly be considered the BEST GAME ever for the platform.

    The amazing clever tricks to deal/minimize the attribute clash issue is not only technical, it is artistic;

    The music is so engaging and immersive. The intro music is mesmerizing. The graphics are unbelieavable

  • @Stopmotionist

    It was probably done to save room on the ROM.

    This was an entry for the MSXdev '05 contest which had a limited ROM-size as one of the rules.

    This way, they'd only have to 'store' the pictures *as is* and then 'inflate' them software-wise to make them somewhat more screen-filling.

  • I don't believe it!

    this game show all the possible power of MSX 1, i repeat, MSX 1, one, the first, great work! best platform ever made for a patetic MSX1 !

  • Thanks for posting this. I liked it.

  • Why is the intro rendered in character mode? It looks like something on the 2600.

  • Akumajo Dracula, is for MSX2, this is for MSX1!!!

  • ey! Nice game!

  • not bad
