@ConverseSoldier i have a budget too, i dont have a ton of money to work with, i'm doin the buy one thing at a time that i can afford route cause i plan on keeping the car for awhile, maybe take it to the drag track every now and then, and i'd like to take it to car shows, then after its built nice, maybe sell it and buy a 65 Mustang or somethin! But yeah, any advice and parts that could help my car run strong would be a great help! U can check my car out too, its on youtube!

@ConverseSoldier lol i'm in New York, this weather is killin me cause we usually would have had a foot of snow the last month and a half, we got no snow at all where i'm gat and its been like 40 degrees out instead of 10!, i could be drivin my car! I just put some Flowmaster Super 44 Series mufflers on it too, sounds real nice, even with Cats, but i'm gonna go the not street legal route and go with O/R pipes lol is there anything u recomend putting into the car to help it run stronger?

@xr100jp wow, you are off to a good start for your first fox. The E303 cam is great for that choppy sound you want. My friends have the same as well, due to the fact we live in California(we hate you Cali), it was the only cam that is 50 state legal for smog. As for your question about Jacobs, I never heard of it but I did some searching and heard some BAD reviews about them. Especially during tuning. I recommend that you switch it out. Stick to genuine parts such as Motorcraft parts, unless t

@ConverseSoldier Thanks a lot! I the car isnt stock, its got aftermarket pistons, intake, headers, exhaust, and a few other things, its pushing 340hp, i know stock it only had like 220hp or somethin...I plan on puttin an O/R H or X pipe on it next, but i really wanna put a different cam in it to give it a nice choppy sound to it...my old man wants to know if you know anythhing about a Jacobs Electronics Energy Pak at all cause my car has one and its def not stock?

@xr100jp Congrats on buying your first muscle car and it being a foxbody. I'm on my fourth foxbody and I gotta tell ya these cars are a lot of fun to drive and to work on. I would say get an E303 cam for an automatic. If it's going to be your daily driver, I would recommend buying a 2,200-2,500 stall converter. I also hear very few people don't run a high stall converter at all but once you start buying "go fast goodies" it will be neccesary to upgrade the converter. I'm glad I can help.

@ConverseSoldier So B303 and E303 should be ok then? i'll def check for clearance...how about a high stall torque converter, do i really need one? I just bought a 93 LX 5.0 with AOD tranny, this is my first muscle car so i'm still learning what is and isnt ok to put into it...my pops is a helluva mechanic but he is a perfectionist, he wants everything to fit n run perfect in it so that's why i'm askin around for people who have experience with the 5.0's...any help is much appreciated!

@keith555055 Sure are a lots of haters on here. (and you're one of them)

@xr100jp- you can run a B303 cam with stock pistons. I'm running edelbrock heads, E303 cam with stock pistons. No problems at all. BUT, I still say you should check for clearance issues anyways. If you are using stock heads, upgrade the valve springs.

does the B303 cam need special pistons to run that cam?

@1000ScottThe LT1s are pieces of shit lmao...

Get rid of the ghetto-ass rims. And as far as "your cobra" goes, not very impressive. Cobras are very good/fast cars, but a camaro or firebird with an LT1 in it can wreck one. And no, I'm not an owner of one. I own an 88 Mustang GT. And I've seen your cobra videos. You can't shift for shit.

@1000ScottThe The rims are plain jain 17inch cobra Rs, nothing getto about it. Im not going to argue that other shit cause I could care less I own a 4runner and a zx10 now, stretched, lowered, full system, race cams and ported head with a PCV for tuning. I mean I would wreck anything unless it has damn near 1300hp. Runs 5.1/5.0 in the 1/8th on an air shifter and a 40 shot.

@acballa3369 Just the fact that you stretch a ZX-10 proves you're just some boofer who is worried about how shiny their toy is.

@1000ScottThe Never heard of a boofer, but I have a 2001 cbr 600 f4i that is a track only bike. It just has a yoshi full system and a PCIII and I just put race plastics on it. I was having to tape the lights up everytime out and it was getting old plus I hated the black and silver theme. My zx is my drag bike cause I have a strip about 20 mins from me that I like to go to every thursday and run grudge/fun runs with, the closest road course thats worth a shit is over 2 hours out, its a no brainer

@1000ScottThe both bikes are purpose built to do what I need them to do.
