well yeah im shure the arms lock onto place, it would be dumb for the motor to do all the suport. However he stilll did squats with that amount of weight, and with the guys small frame their is know way he would be able to do that with out HAL. It will only get better I sure.
This man is a genius.... think of the applications this could have. It could help with construction, allow paralyzed people to move, be utilized by firefighters, and that technology could be used for even better prosthetics. Too bad the military is probably going to buy it up (just because of the strength enhancement), because this device could help so many people in ways that are much more peaceful.
It looks as if the guy is just supporting and not lifting. Is there a video which shows a normal guy lifting 150 kg from squatting position to standing up?
