It was pretty interesting & a lot to learn. They displayed all different types of train that actually ran through the tunnels back in the early 1900's. From trolleys to city buses.

  • The R17 did not run on the 7 to the mets game. The ones that were on the 7 were the R33's

  • 7 train is the Redbird that takes you to Shea stadium

  • the black and yellow train isnt the "money train", its for construction. the money train is silver and armored i seen it on 42st like at 3am

  • @BeMyBigHero Because the someone simply changed the rollsign to shea stadium, its a rollsign you can change it to anything on the roll by turning a knob.

  • @trainboyrob Then why did the sign in the window panel actually say, "Shea Stadium, Queens"?

  • The wife and I checked this museum out in 2008 on my first visit to NYC. It was very interesting and cool to see example cars from the different eras that you could go through.
