As Draper searches for food, water and oxygen, he eventually discovers that the dead planet may actually harbor life -- but it's not clear whether the Martians are friends or foes.
@TK42138 They did this with mat work and no digital. Pretty good for the time.

@chubsoda Yeah but don't the buggers wake you up at 4 in the morning by banging the toilet seat up and down repeatedly?

I've noticed that a lot of the the native language Vic Lunden is using is names and implements of Mayan culture. If you listen to him speaking you will catch it here and there.

I can't figure out why he didn't wait for the ships to shove off and then rebuild his little cliff retreat. Man, he had it made: Heat & oxygen from rocks, water, sausage plants, clothing material, companionship, and no waiting line at the swimming hole.

@DoctorJK3 I don't have a problem with them. The way they move doesn't seem like the "War of the Worlds" Martian war-machines at all.

I like the Cobra-headless Martian War Macines (originally from War of the Worlds) here. How cheap.
Maybe their pitoled by headless Martians or politicans- same diference.
