You can help encourage more girls to play cornets and trumpets. For the summer we will have 2 or 3 girl trumpets. They are college students or play with our Do It Yourself Sousa concert.

We played this song in high school. Unfortunately it was also one of our festival pieces and the oboist dropped out of her solo completely and got us a rating of 2. I was so mad because this was my last year and the other years we always got 1s.
