Elvis recorded this song at the RCA' Studio B in Nashville, Tennessee on October 1, 1967 (rhthm track)/October 2, 1967 (vocal). Master take was spliced of take #2 plus another unknown for the intro.
Elvis recorded 19 takes for this song and for the movie was choosen take #17. This take was released by mistake on "Almost in love" 1970 Camden LP by mistake. The master take is available on "Let's be friends" 1970 LP (first release).
This clip features unreleased takes 5, 6 and 8. They are available only on these bootleg CD's:
Come what may (1998) and "Rare Elvis, vol. 4" (2010).
