  • I've always been mad at the producers of KingsGold III for cutting off the end of this song! When Garry Sheppard shows Chris and Jay how to sing tenor, the roof blows off the place!

  • @TheJarwood I also agree with you...it did mess up the song, and what they edited into the end was almost pointless material ...they could have had video problems and the tape was not good so this was remixed like this...to make out the time on the video.I think that was the problem . I also agree this was overall the best of these videos.

  • They are just some of the best.

  • Hmmm, we had the Kingsmen in Ft. Worth, Texas, but Charles Brinkley was the leader and there were guys like Paul Paschall and R.E. Box that were part of it.

  • @louannbanks You may be a music graduate, but you obviously do not appreciate the quality of voice that these various tenors had to offer. I am also a music graduate, and IMO, Sheppard was at the bottom of the group of tenors that sang with the Kingsmen. More than being a music graduate, I am a fan of SGM. Johnny Parrack/Ernie Phillips were at the top, legendary, in fact, Sheppard often sounded as if he was singing through his nose, and ruined many performances with that flaw.

  • you know... they did say at the beginning of the song that this song wasn't going to be on the video and it was just "icing on the cake" plus I kinda enjoyed the stuff they added in. so still a great video!

  • we sing this song in our choir

  • To the people who think they know, Gary Sheppard was the best tenor ever. He did do some falsetto, but he was a true tenor and I mean true tenor just like Johnny Parrick. I know because I am a music graduate. They took him off the video because Ray Dean Reese didn't want Gary showing up his tenor singer which he is not. Get facts straight before commenting.

  • @ayden4224 Thanks, glad I'm not the only one who ever thought that...

  • where is the video where jay takes the funny, extra bow at the end for his high note?

  • Jay reminds me so much of his daddy it's crazy

  • With all do respect, (and I'm saying with all do respect!) Gary Shepard wouldn't think of saying anything to either of these tenors about singing. He has the worst falsetto, head voice tenor ever! Go and tell somebody burned him OUT!
