They look like they are almost in High school, the flute players. they need more stacatos, you can barely hear them...but they did a nice job on the solo improvisation.

My middle school Jazz Band had 5 Trumpets, 3 Trombones and 4 Saxophones ( of course a rythem sec )

This is what happens when jazz students are oblivious to chord changes / chord tones, and can't hear the notes in their head before they play them. There are no dynamics in their solos. There is no state-repeat-vary, 7-3 lines, just a plain blues scale. These poor students were taught improvisation the wrong way.
