Wow, I've seen that whole list except for "Red Belt" and "From Where I Stand", the man has good taste. PS-Synecdoche, NY- One of the most under-rated, unknown movies of last year that most people will either hate or love. Definitely requires 2 viewings.

If you like Cloverfield and Blairwhich, you should realy see REC. They did a shitty american remake of it called Quarentine, but REC is in the same style as the others but a horror and VERY well made.

But he says it like supernatural is a bad thing even then.

It's perfectly possible to have empathetic story and characters in a fantastical setting. It's been done tons of times.
