"Watch What You Watch" hopes to build awareness about the need to pay attention not to just what kids watch, but how they watch it. Now more than ever, tools such as media literacy, public education and career exploration can be invaluable to young people. "Watch What You Watch" offers a clearinghouse of resources and tools that girls, parents, communities, and the media industry can use to help young people encounter and use media content that inspires, empowers, and engages.

Awesome message, and definitely well meaning, but all of the women in this video are heavily made-up, well-dressed in likely to be tailored clothes, and most are conventionally beautiful/thin. Does that make the message more convincing and is thus justifiable? Or does it get in the way by perpetuating the problem?

It's a great message and applies to everyone, not just girls I think that guys have a lot of the same issues when it comes to how men are portrayed on screen as well... it's just that no one really thinks about it.

Good message about how to not fall to peer pressure and any sort of pressure from others from about 5 women with bleached blonde hair and brown roots.
