  • Thank You so very much for this classical recipe, that's what I'd call it. I love Semolina and everything made from it. I have tried Basbousa once-the Egyptian Semolina Cake-it was little undercooked from the inside but it. I cut it into half and cooked it on the non stick frying pan to make it eatable. Could You please try it some day with a little bit of Indian touch? For this recipe, your stove burner was too big for this sized chapati, that's why it burnt a little on sides.

  • @skinnypigeon : We have tried Basboosa and it is wonderful - very similar to Suji Halwa (check out our video). We do hope to showcase that some day :)

Chapatis need to have a little brown spots....

  • tried this just now and served it with a tangy Fish curry..5 stars..gr8 recipe..

  • *eggless and semonlina instead of regular flour.

  • This is like an eggless Indian version of pate a choux dough, but used to make a flatbread instead of pastry. Very interesting. I need to try this.

  • hi I was wondering if you can share with me a peas (green) snack I've had it before but I dont know what it is called. Made with green peas that you must boil at home and spices are added and is eaten like a snack. I am not talking bout the hard crunchy green peas you get in the store but the soft version. thanks!

  • ! Yum all up

  • Thanks a lot for sharing this. This recipe is really new to me, never knew there are sooji rotis. Will surely give it a try.

  • @waqaszaib Ok, brother, then do a search for titliNihan or Titli cooking. She is Muslim by marriage, I think, and she has lots of South Asian recipes perfect for Ramadan. Most recipes on youtube are best for iftar, though, not for sehri. Just eat a lot of carbs and protein and water with fresh lemon juice. Ramadan Mubarak!
