This video is so confusing, I cannot understand what it's all about. It's like coming in on the tail end of a conversation.

The National Council of Churches took money from George Soros; both sides in the mainline churches are disingenuous. Both deserve each other.
They're fighting to see who gets the money property and who gets to be captain of the 'Titanic'. Pitiful.

"Taking over the machinery or the apparatus of the denomination and saying, in effect, 'if you don't agree, you're out".

Gee, where have I heard this before?

It was what the "progressives" did to the main-line denominations in the '60's and '70's.

Now that the power of the "progressives" is being meaningfully challenged, they do the only thing they know how to do -- attack and smear those who challenge them.

This video (if it accurate) is telling a story that basically parallels that of how jihadis infiltrated and took over mosques in the West with Saudi funding.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about this video is when that one guy says that the IRD can "put the screws" to a church.

If they're not a member of the church, how can they do that. I guess I have to watch the whole video to see that.

If there is a single head of the United Methodist Church it is Jim Winkler (the third guy interviewed) he's been arrested more than once while Protesting the war in Iraq.

Good for him. But it speaks volumes that in America people get arrested for protesting war.
