Question: Does anyone out there have a solution to this? For license plates, it's easy -- sound deadening material or some foam.
Backstory: After installing the subs, I expected the first bit of rattling I'd notice while outside the vehicle would have been my license plate, instead, it's coming from the Toyota emblem on the front bumper cover (grille).
I don't have earth-shaking bass by any means (MRP-M450 pushing two C10's in an undersized, non-polyfilled, sealed box wired to present a 2Ohm load). In fact, [the bass is] rather quiet from the outside on most songs with the volume at 30-35 on the factory HU. Inside, it's a nice and loud (enough) compliment to the audio. This is how I like it -- I'm not in favor of breathing difficulty whilst driving.
Open the hood... reach inside and feel the back of the emblem with your fingers
you should feel some bolts and nuts.... tighten them down.. I hope that helps
