A fire destroyed an 18-unit apartment building in Orono, Maine. Firefighters were able to rescue a golden retriever who had been trapped inside for almost three hours.
i remeber being there and witnessing the roof caving in and the flames just shooting from the rear side!. i was walking from my apartment in talmar wood because i heard there was a fire downtown. that building was probably the oldest one in orono. i feel bad for all the people that were living in the apartments at the time. hope they are in a safe place now. it was really sad seeing it burn, then it got torn down and now there is nothing there.....
I'm assuming you lived there before Bob Dudley owned it, since it has been undergoing pretty extensive renovation in the past few years since he purchased it.
Is that UMAINE basketball coach Ted Woodard in the beginning?

Firefighters (and teachers) deserve the kind of adoration and huge salaries that athletes receive. Rescuers and educators are the TRUE heros.
