Yes, that's not the topic, but this woman tried to hijack the show later on and talk about equating supposed additional safety for our country to her ginger kid being called a "coppertop" - something brought up during the paper review which doesn't have a phone-in slot, and Matthew Wright snaps, coming across as rather odd.
This clip includes both segments so you can see what she was ranting about. Matthew was being sarcastic back then, but when that woman rang up he was still very rude to her.
It wasn't banned, but as a nation we love to get angry about press invented issues that, in reality don't exist.
Remember the World cup, apparently we were banned from displaying England flags in our own Country, we were not.

Yes, but I don't remember ginger people going through such a hard time historicly do you?
Who was the first ginger guy to take a stand and not sit at the back of the bus?
If he'd have come up with some other word to represent a blonde kid, or a kid with spots, it's a non issue.

RAZ - it was banned because its apparently racist, I'm not racist by saying "apparently", I just think its all getting pathetic, even black parents sing it to their kids and they're fine with it.
