He says that it was on of the biggest dream to record the Beethoven violinconcerto. Each serious violinist has the wish to play this with a great conductor and a great orchestra.
He plays the famous cadences of Kreisler in Beethoven's violinconcerto and therefore he thought that he should also include compositions of Kreisler in this album. Kreisler was one of the first, who, at the beginning of the 20th century, has revived the Beethoven violinconcerto.
