Richard Stallman will be the most remembered IT specialist hundreds of years from now when all has gone wrong. He will be remembered as a saint trumping over the likes of Steve Jobs , Bill Gates and other "evil" empire leaders. Now Bill Gates will be remembered for his serious Robin Hood like traits, but human rights and freedom will always be valued more. This is why RS is a true Hero.

This guy is RIGHT about Facebook and he is RIGHT about mobile phones. Type this in youtube search field: "raytheon riot". Its from 2010 already, three year old technology that already worked.

4:20 - I dissagree with the anonymous equivilancy with a real life protest. DOS attacks use bot nets. Also protests should be more about being heard then disturbing the peace.

I agree but not share his concerns. Power is a burden in itself. I saw how much effort was put in defending copyright and yet they are in a loosing battle. They are not going to win no matter how vicious they get. Intellectual work is not property and trying to make it so is a HUGE burden.

You've missed the point, which focused primarily on statism, not corporatism. One relies upon the use of force, the latter you enter in voluntary contracts with. Statism is by design opposed to the philosophy that Stallman promotes.

Stallman is not against companies, he is against non-free software. After you buy a laptop you own it and you can do whatever you like with it, this is not the case with software.
