This 1985 blues hit for Duke Robillard with its marvelous rhythm track was adopted very quickly by the shag enthusiasts. Duke, once a member of the Fabulous Thunderbirds, plays in the style of T-Bone Walker, and he co-founded the Roomful of Blues with Al Copley in 1967.

This is definitely one of Duke Robillard's best albums (Too Hot To Handle) from when he left Roomful of Blues. I currently own his first solo self-titled LP from 1983 called "Duke Robillard and The Pleasure Kings". But this album is one of his best when it comes to some really nice blues.

@brevadude Duke Robillard definitely was a member of the Fabulous Thunderbirds back in 1990-91. He was one of the guitarists that filled Jimmie Vaughan's position after he left the T-Birds. The album he recorded with the T-Birds was called "Walk That Walk, Talk That Talk" - 1991.

Cool! I saw The "T" Birds some years back (Duke was not with them yet) when Jimmie Vaughan was still playing with them! Great!! They opened for Crosby, Stills and Nash! Truly a night to remember!! Thanks for this one! Great Stuff!
