I'll be honest in saying that if gun control advocates could show me irrefutable evidence that gun control reduced violent crime and saved lives, I'd probably support it. (And cry as they take away Shiela, my Beretta.) But the opposite has been true. Time and again the pro-gun advocates can show actual statistics while the anti-gun lobby relies on emotional response and unsubstantiated statements. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of the guy who broke in to steal your X-Box.
