College of Metaphysics students and faculty gather together at 5:30 am each morning in the upper level of the Peace Dome to recite 577 words of the Universal Peace Covenant, a document written and developed by teachers, directors and faculty in the School of Metaphysics in 1996-1997. The Universal Peace Covenant describes how "Living peaceably begins by thinking peacefully." In this way, students begin their day with thoughts of peace that influence how they think and interact during the day.
