@TYKEY10 I thought about it, have no clue at this point on why that happens. I don't know, you could try to make sure it's XML version 1, limit the layers on the timeline, limit the effects on the clips...It always worked for me on an iMac, never worked on a MacPro though...

When I drag it over the programs icon, nothing happens, and then on my desktop it leaves an error message?

@iiBEaSTzzZz Once you have it in After Effects there is no going back because Final Cut does not have those equivalent effects that you find in AE.

Im trying to make text animation move with final cut. can you make a tutorial showing how to do this. I know all the controls in final cut but Im tring to do more custom words and i dont know much about this. Something like where you can throw a baseball then it turns into a word. like fastlane by royce 5'9

@gapjux9 @gapjux9 @gapjux9 What's the timecode of the effect you're inquiring about on Royce 5'9's video? From what you described, that is called morphing, check out creativecow[dot]net where they have a couple of Morphing Tutorials. From what I observe, MOST of the things done in that video is done in After Effects, and you can't do in Final Cut. The equivalent of after effects is Apple's Motion, but I just find after effects more user friendly and more productive.

When I import it into AE I get an error message that says unable to run script at line 4. The TimeCodeDisplayType is unidentified. What does this mean?

@DiminishedStudios Also, check out the video uploaded by "dhelmly," titled: "Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 & Importing Final Cut Pro projects" Once its inside Adobe Premiere, you can select all file in the sequence timeline, right click and "Replace With After Effects Composition" It's just another way that worked for me.
