The Omega Man - Sunglasses at Night

I first saw The Omega Man in 1971 when I was 8 years old. I was creeped out by "the family's" deformed eyes

The first time I heard Corey Hart's song "Sunglasses at Night" in the 80's, I immediately thought of The Omega Man.

The video you see here is the third version I've made. I made the first one in 1990. I did a widescreen version around 1996. And this one I finished October 8, 2006.

I used a digital VCR with video-dubbing and two-track audio-dubbing capabilities.

There are plenty of video-editing programs for your PC that you to use. I'm not familiar enough with them to know which one to recommend.

Charlton Heston seemed to wear the same sunglasses in alot of his movies. The sunglasses he's wearing in this movie seemed to be the same ones he wore back in the 1958 movie, Touch of Evil, 1976's Midway and 2 Minute Warning, and several others. He must of like them that much! In the movie 2 Minute Warning, He kept taking them on and off in almost every scene he was in. Anyhow I loved the way he looked wearing these sunglasses.

@thentobefearless Back during this time there were a hell of a lot more original ideas. All movies these days are fucking remakes of good movies back in the day. If youre going by that standpoint that you hate movies based on books or older films then you must be a really pissed off person.

I have the 3 versions, ie the last man on earth, omega man, and I am legend. Personally, my favorite is Omega Man, probably due to Heston´s acting and the Family´s approach to give purpose to their lives, namely, by burning books and hunting Neville at night...
