Deadly Alliance and Deception, UMHO, helped Mortal Kombat revive itself. SHaolin Monks was awsome, as it was a great asventure game unlike the last two. Armageddon was a step backwards as it reused models from the thre ablove games, with newer models going to characters that never appeared in the last gen games.

And don't get me started on MK vs. DC. MK 2011 will be the one to help get it back on it feet again.

I dont even remember the commercial for this game, though MK had some pretty terrible game advertisements that made no sense at all...I mean this commercial doesn't look like it has anything to do with MK at all. Now if body parts were ripped off during the touch scenes in the commercials I would be convinced that it was an MK commercial. But I have to admit the early 90s and early 2000's had some badass game commercials...Not so much anymore though.
