Enter Shikari Live at Download 2009 12/06/09. They were the Suprise band for download and so they only played a short 30 min set on the 3rd stage (tent).

I'm not what you would call a Metallica fan, but I respect them and I've seen them live .Honestly, seeing them on stage changes everything. They are the tightest band and though he's an arse, James Hetfield is one hell of a frontman when he gets on stage.

Plus you can't deny what they have done for music, not just metal but music in general. They have arguably the best run of albums ever with Kill 'Em All, Ride The Lightening, Master of Puppets and ...And Justice For All.

i'm a metallica fan, well not a fan but i don't mind them, but the reason they've been playing for 25 years is because they made alot of fans in their prime when the were good, and now those fans are all in such denial, and will go see them no matter what age they might be, and if you want to talk about influences, eddie van halen/ van halen were alot bigger influences than metallica, especially in the revolution of the guitar, just as slash, zakk wylde, etc.

Metallica are one of the best metal bands out there. They have influenced many of the great bands out there today so please, FUCK YOURSELF :)

oh, and I think they have more talent than you by far. If they were "washed up old farts" I wouldn't think they would have been going for 25 years.
