Michael Knight guitar solo spot w/ Ricochet, NY 1988. Back in the 1980's every guitarist in every metal or hard rock band had a guitar solo spot. Although my solo evolved over the years there was still an element of improv. in what I did on any particular night. This gig was at Sundance, Bayshore, LI, NY. (side note: Yngwie Malmsteen came to the club that night to promote an upcoming gig and have a few brews. The guitarist in the other band that was playing with us that night almost crapped his pants. he couldn't play a lick!!)
