Bim-Bam is one note per stirke kinda like a door bell where as Ting-Tang is a note struck followed by a chord (this clock).

I have a Bentima 8 day clock this sounds similair and you have kindly confirmed that my clock and yoursm is a ting tang clock My Clock has a floating balance movement and is made in Western Germany.
