  • Hi,

    RawShift on YouTube went through a time of craving chicken. Through his research he found that eating too much fat such as avocadoes, seed, and nuts caused cravings. Since he has eliminated those, he's much better.

    Check out his site. I think it's on video #5. He explains it better.

  • I crave meat, fish and eggs when i'm on the raw food diet. I solve the problem by eating meat, fish and eggs. Easy.

  • That's funny, I just started my first juice fast and on the second day, I was craving fish soooo bad...still am at day 5!

  • wow on your BDay you were all HIGH and happy and then you got bluesy and feeling sick and now you are having cravings. that is an interesting cycle.

    i had experienced this same thing i think almost, i had done this back in 2007 and unfortunatley after a 12 day juice fast i came off it and then a week later or so i rebounded to cooked and meat and i havent gone back since. i really want to get back to that and prepare better.

    if i had known portabellas for steak instead i would have succeeded

  • i agree with your friend. i think cravings really come on when detoxing. green smoothies always seem to help me with that. i highly recommend you purchase the book 'green for life' if you haven't already. it's amazing. has some hugely important information in there on greens and such and why blended greens are so good and important in your diet. <3

    Are you pissed off with paying child support to your ex-bitch and so are pissed off with all women?

  • Craving raw fish or cooked fish?

  • In the beginning of my veganism I sometimes craved animal products so I just ate something fatty and proteiny and the cravings went away straight away. I retrained my body to recognise what it specifically needed, rather then the form it was used to getting it in. I think this is a major problem with people quitting veganism, they just don't take the time to learn enough about nutrition and alternative sources for things.

    Way to go for not eating the sentient beings :-)
