**WINNER: 2011 BUFFALO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OFFICIAL SELECTION (short film, fiction)**

--A Blondie Joe Manco Production--

l'amour du destin | the love of one's fate | amor fati

"Amor Fati - let that be my love henceforth!"
-Friedrich Nietzsche

A film by Brent Singleton about the potential of separation and how far a man will go to find his lost love, edited in a style inspired by the American avant-garde movement of the mid-20th century.

This film was shot on Fire Island, Latham, and Stony Brook State Park, all located in New York. All scenes were originally shot with no intention of making this particular film - a narrative was formed around the footage at hand.

The song "For Air" by John Frusciante from his 1997 album Smile From The Streets You Hold accompanies the film.
