wow some pretty lame interviewing skills displayed here....for such an interesting personality as Seth not one interesting of even funny moment in this interview...it's just blahblahblah obvious obligatory Q+A and even seriously attemting to explain the plot to Seth really shows how naive that interviewer probably is...now lets have happy time and watch American Dad... ;D

continued...you have crazy neighbors, yet somehow there all friends, I used to like family guy, then they added all the bullshit, i do like American dad they still keep that fresh, but that's becasue they don't push the envelope out of desperation. Cleavland show, is just a rip off, another revenue stream for seth, it doesn't even compare to the other 2. but still family guy goes beyond becasue they actually steal quite a bit from pop culture, and play it as their own, no homage as their own.

the problem with family guy is that they keep dragging it on, it's no longer about humor or jokes its about stating seths political views, ripping off other movies and plots then rehashing them as their own. Basically the three shows are all the same, he has no creativity in that sense, you have a father either fat stupid or one or the other, a bitchy hot wife, talking babies older than their age, and or talking animals, but i count roger as a baby, then you have sons and or daughter outcasts

the problem with family guy is that its pushing the envelope too far, its not even about humor anymore its about stating seths political views, while trying to be as over the top as you can manage, i like family guy, however it is dragging on, the plots are getting weaker, the jokes are just being rehashed, they contradict earlier seasons, American dad is okay, despite having been ripped off of seths own family guy, with an idiot father, bitchy hot wife, talking animals, a son a daughter etc.

you would also lose his voice for tim the bear, tom tucker, quagmire, the gay newscaster terry, Stan Smith, Roger the alien, but i agree with you, he starts off the series but then he lets his team of writers take care of it, the only thing he does do is have them focus on whatever major issues he wants to address or impose through the cartoon, also your right he does cash in on all 3 series, plus the star wars crossovers to get him a new avenue of fans for revenue.
