The VM Bundle consists of adapted versions of OP-X and Stringer plus effect plugins as well as preconfigured ready to play banks.
The adapted versions feature an extremely reduced cpu consumption and a lot of further optimizations for the V-Machine, including better startup performance, an increased number of internal patches and separate DSP only Non-GUI versions of the plugins for V-Machine internal use only that offer ultra stable performace.
Installation is extremely easy and licensing can be done within VFX without the need of additional wizard files. No need to create presets and adjust levels before transferring to the V-Machine, this already has been done for you. Just install, license, transfer and start playing!
What you hear in the video are all factory presets delivered with the bundle. The V-Machine is played live with a midi keyboard.
The Korg DW-8000 is only used as a midi master keyboard. All sounds you can hear is what comes out of the stereo line outputs of the V-Machine, with no further processing. Presets are either switched manually directly on the V-Machine or by midi remote program change from the master keyboard's preset changer.
Mac Users:
The Bundle also can be used without the V-Machine within the free Mac version of VFX. The presets will sound the same as in the video. Prerequisite is that you have an intel mac.

did they ever fix the bugs in this thing ?

They have a new public beta version of the VFX program which makes things much better (visit their page); but it's important to know that only the host software (computer side) was buggy in some situations, but never the V-Machine itself - it's stable as a rock (as you can see in the video)

how long does it take to change patches and how many patches can you store in the vmachine?

Speed of preset change depends on the used plugins. For the VM Bundle have a look at the new video in this channel called "V-Machine: Famous Sounds!" which is a close-up one shot video including preset and bank changes. Concerning number of presets you can store as many as you want.
