  • My maternal grandparents and great grandparents hail from Hathern and my mother was raised there. Great grandparents were the Hunts (Oswald and Eva) and my grandparents were Tom and Henrietta Mackley.

I was raised in Loughborough but visited Hathern numerous times with mum throughout my childhood in the sixties and up to the mid-seventies. My grandparents both died in 1977.
