Hello everybody......I am pilot my self, working in a European Airline.Rayanair tray to get more money from passengers bay this stupid ideas....not thinking about people with for example IPOTASIS, SMALL CHILDREN,people with mobility problems or OLD PEOPLE which they can not stand up more than 15 min. Even if rayan has special seats for standing up so thay can increase the amount of passengers, blood gos down to feet. How this people will stand up in this kind of situation?

Haha true, everybody who says they hate ryanair, are the same people that will happily fly with them on their holidays, or will atleast contemplant buying a ticket with them.

Call this guy a prick if you want, but he is probably the best CEO in the world - to date is even a possibility. BA - been around 90 years Ryanair - 20 BA and the worlds leading airlines are losing billions and are now folling MO'Ls - crazy - but worthwhile schemes

I dont think so.not any more with the cost cutting plan BA has. Ryanair is looking after there planes more now. They made a big profit this year and also has a very moderen fleet thier oldest plane is 11 years old and has something like 200 aircraft on order

Yeah but did you ever see dispatches? I dont think BA would skimp on safety like that. Yes I know some of it was bullcrap but you wouldnt be able to make a dispatches about BA like that.

You know. I kind of admire Michael O Leary. His entrepreneurial skills are second to none. He runs his business, he doesn't just play with it like Aer Lingus. And in fairness he gets us where we need to go cheaply and quickly and in the end thats all I really care about. And if I was to pick someone to run a business he'd be my first choice. Also he's still managing to run a profitable business in the midst of a recession and for this I admire him!

Interesting the way the debate goes. There are those who are annoyed that people should be treated like cattle by a scarcely human post thatcherite con man and those who don't care whatever happens as long as they think it saves them a few pennies. Personally, I like to think that ethics go a little deeper than simply how (apparently) cheap something is.
