Tarriffs are taxes that companies have to pay to bring their cheap imported shit INTO the U.S. ...When tarriffs are removed, it becomes cost effective to move production (factories) to foreign countries. That's what happened when NAFTA passed...a slow leak was turned into a flood of jobs leaving the U.S. The cheaper it is to bring stuff into the U.S...the more jobs we lose. WTO & NAFTA are not your friends. They are a knife in the back of U.S. workers.

@clownporn1 NO candidate supports tarriffs & they're ALL unopposed to .10 week foreign labor. We have to take what we can get, when we can get it. Only Paul is against NAFTA, WTO. NAFTA almost never passed. Now that people know its bad effects, they wont allow it again IF we can get out of it. Pauls old, 2nd term unlikely. NO-ONE will increase taxes on the rich, the next Pres. will probably have to go back to tarriffs just to balance the budget, MUCH more likely if WTO/NAFTA are already gone.

He has also said he's got no problem letting foreigners working for 10 cents a week. NAFTA, WTO are bad in Ron Paul's eyes because they exert some control. @clownporn1 Right now, under NAFTA, WTO, etc... we are bound NOT to impose tarriffs on imports. Tarriffs are really our only weapon against the asian, slave wage labor. We must charge importers tarriff fees that are equal or greater that the money they will save using asian slave wage labor. Hopefully will cost them more to import shit than to make it here. You are to young to remember, but that is the way it used to be. Jobs stayed here. 1st step = get the fuck out of WTO, NAFTA, etc..
