Just following up. Ergotron now offers an option with increased security: The PS Laptop Cart (it works with tablets as well as laptops), which includes steel doors, robust key/lock assembly, etc. With the Tablet Management Cart shown here, its compact size and maneuverability make it easy to relocate into a locked closet or office when not in use, which we recommend if security is an issue. Its key-locked doors limit access but a determined individual can pry them open as you note.

Well after watching this ad, I ordered two early August 2011. Though they still have not arrived. The supplier is keeping extending the ETA each month. First it was shipping, then customs sent them back, then they were to arrive, then they found someone had ordered before me so they were allocated them, now apparently they have arrived, though I am awaiting for them to be sent to my school. Don't order these unless you want to wait wait wait then wait some more. Not good enough.
