ABS-CBN started television broadcasting in the Philippines on October 23, 1953, ABS-CBN is the television pioneer in Asia. GMA only started TV broadcasting in early 60s. GMA lied in saying they are 60 years old because GMA only started as a radio station 60 years ago while ABS-CBN started radio operation 64 years ago before they introduce television in the country.

@GABBYSHOE08 another fact po... si Toni Rose di lumipat ng network... Eat Bulaga ang lumipat for her... si Toni Rose ang unang unang gumamit ng Broadway Centrum as a GMA studio when it was first utilized by GMA back in 1987, before Lunch Date's first anniversary!! up to now sa Broadway pa rin sya. andun ang Bulaga eh. ; )
