This concert was held in Leningrad USSR (later renamed St Petersburg) Still behind the Iron Curtain. This concert took place in 1987. Communism in Russia didn't completely collapse until 1991, therefore it was still considered the Soviet Union. Hope you enjoyed your history lesson.
