  • @Victordove God Doesn't control us, we have free will to do anything we want. His love is so amazing that out of relationship with him we just want to be close and seek him, and the result is blessing and covering. God is not a controlling father, but a father with open arms ready to love only if you want, and if you don't want him you don't have to have him in your life.

  • What?!?!?! Do you realize how ridiculous you sound? A Christian saying that God will control your life if you allow him to. Even if there was a God, I sure as fuck wouldn't want him controlling my actions. You are starting to sound more like a Satanist than a Christian.

  • That's the point of being a christian. Giving the Lord control over your life. He wont control you, cos you haven't given him your life.

  • I'm an atheist and I help people. I condemn God and religion in general. You're saying that God has control over people's actions? I'd say that's refuted one of Christianities greatest dogmas, free-will. Fucking religion bafoons.

  • It's God who moves people to do things like that.

  • Wow. Great Testimony.

All we have to do is be available. Amen.

  • This is very similar to my own life.

  • The Bible teaches to be kind towards others, it's a book of stories that keep people in line and with a moral attitude. I believe everyone has to believe in something greater than themselves. It was the people who helped him back on his feet, it wasn't God. God didn't reach his hand down and drop a car in front of him and give him a job. I go to central every Sunday with my family, and I am not convinced.

  • OH YEAH! *fistpump* I'm so glad to hear someone say that, when other arguments of such have gone out for... pages at a time. -- Also, great last statement, I agree fully with that. It takes a strong person to believe in something, when there are some people who rather believe in nothing at all.
