You should just use a buoyancy tool.

but then it wont keep itself upright, it would just bob like a dead fish.

Nuuu. You can set how high it floats by the % (0-100%). Though. To make itself go up and down in the water, you'd need to add weight. But its easier then adding props. Add to many, might glitch the whole thing.

no i mean, putting on barrles makes it act like a fish's air sack, it keeps it upright, and all you need to do is attatch a wire weight, or flippers to make it go down. But sing boyancy will help in some parts.

by the way, awesome fish, it moves quite realisticly.

if I get Gmod I'm definitly making a fish using this method, but I might make it a bit more fish-like than 3 metal plates with cinder blocks and paper attached.
