These involve giving our manuhiri (guests) the opportunity to experience life on a real community Marae from a few hours to one or more days.
Our Interactive Maori Culture Experiences include but are not limited to:
 Sleepover at a real community Marae (if overnight)
 Interacting & meeting with the locals
 Powhiri (traditional Maori welcome)
 Poroporoaki (Maori farewell)
 Tikanga (customs and traditions)
 Preparing, setting and lifting a Hangi (earth oven meal)
 Te reo (Maori language)
 Waiata (Maori songs)
 The Haka (Māori war dance)
 Harakeke (flax weaving)
 Whakairo (wood carving)
