Original Everquest Intro Movie 1999

This is the original introduction movie to the greatest MMORPG of all time. This video is from 1999 and was removed after the first few expansions. While browsing the EQ files, I found this file and converted it to an AVI. This should bring back some memories.

the department that song created to make this game....was fiired by sony after the gamer became popular \(around kunark expansion or velious\0...they then handed over to another department that had no heart and love for the game...they started pimpin out expansion after expansion for money and killed it.

@BioGood You must have never played the game. The game came out 13 years ago! WoW is a good game. EQ was a good game for it's time and I still enjoy playing emu's.

@ilovescakebish ok seriously guys.. stfu with the whole "OMG EVERKWEST CAME FERYSTE!!!11" Yeah, we get it, the game was out first.. you know what? Super Mario brother was also a game that came out before EQt, so does that mean EQ copied mario? no

If WoW was just a cheap ripoff of EQ, then that game would have died shortly after release. Obviously WoW did something right that EQt didn't in the MMO genre, and that is why WoW killed EQ. There's a difference between "copying" and "refining" a game.

@BioGood did you knew EQ1 was released LONG before WoW, and WoW actually ripped off Stuff from EQ1?

Did you knew EQ1 worked without Scriped/Automatted Events, and Instances?

Did you knew that EQ1 actually had Human Beings taking care of you (GMs) without premade Wall-of-Text Answers?

Did you knew that 1999 almost nobody had Internet, and thats why it wasnt so popular?

EQ1 beats WoW anytime.
