And just for all those who wish to read the written review, i have copied and pasted the points which the game scored onto this description, and the review can be found at:

Rating
Out of 10

9.0 Presentation
Gorgeous presentation. Slick interface. Fantastic save system -- you can save as many times as necessary. Some annoying loads between overworld and sub-regions.
8.5 Graphics
Beautiful style and a great 3D engine impress. New 480p and 16:9 widescreen modes are fantastic. Subtler paper filter. Still has some framerate dips.
9.0 Sound
Ambient, fitting, amazing. A truly spectacular soundtrack.
9.0 Gameplay
Entertaining, engaging and very fun. Feels like Capcom's very own Zelda-like adventure. The Wii-mote-mapped celestial brush is superb. Fantastic puzzles, satisfying boss fights, and much more.
8.5 Lasting Appeal
It's a huge, epic, 30-plus-hour adventure.

  • @kingkng1995 LONGGGG LIKE 60 TO 100 OR MORE HOURS!!!

  • with wii, brush techniques are hard wen u have all moves cuz like restoring, u can mix up with wind and if that does happen, any other trees restored can be killed and must be restored again...and lilly pad can sometimes be water spout!

  • I have the PS2 version, and I logged 32 hours and still not finished.

  • how long is this game?

  • When I watch the okami reviews I can't help but think when they are going to mention the string of beads....

  • dont worry, an amazing game is still an amazing game

  • I like how this review, despite being a review, completely disregards the fact that it's a review and shows significant spoilers to things like bosses and sidequests. :|

    Getting this tomorrow.

Waiting for Gamestop's slowarse mail delivery. Paid for 2-day air. But they only process and deliver on business days. So I ordered on Saturday, it processed on Monday, and I'll be getting it some time tomorrow.

    I can't wait, though.

    But now, I'm sad.

    Because of SPOILERS.

  • yes a wolf. And YOU are Sooo right that something new and unique is NOWHERE near as good as mega-super-testosterone-space marine

  • Good review man =P. I just bought this at walmart for $20 last night and i am very satisfied with it. Also it is very similar to zelda twilight princess, because you always have issun following you like midna, your ridding the land of evil or w/e, and the gameplay is pretty similar in my opinion. This game is awesome and any wii owners need to buy it.

  • *SPOILERS*

I realize that if you had tried to beat Ninetails with the controller for the PS2 version, it would've been harder if not, difficult. Just the way that Ninetails blocks your brush techniques using her own, still as you hold the B button down.

For example, if you were trying to draw a cherry bomb, she'd interfere and draw a line straight through it.

So you'd have barely any time to finish your drawing without her interfering with your brush strokes, the wii is easier to handle. =]
