Season 2 Episode 15 Part 1
Hosted by Leonard Nimoy and broadcast weekly from 1976 to 1982, In Search Of... is the greatest mystery documentary show ever. I grew up watching this show, enjoying the spine-tingling presentation of quasi-fact and dramatic synthesizer-heavy music of Rinder and Lewis.
I am not selling this material, neither am I interested in buying bootlegs. It is currently commercially unavailable, so I am joining with others to make evaluation of this excellent series possible.
I'm posting these videos to fill some gaps left by recently suspended users (from whom I downloaded these). Check my subscriptions to find users with more episodes, and drop me a note if you have posted any "new" ones. Thanks for watching!
@Jackalman99 I read it myself, and I wouldn't take it that seriously...after all, she was just repeating a story she heard from another guy. There's no "there" there.
Also, I believe there was a Babylon 5 episode that dealt with this topic waaay back in '94 - they even used the term "anti-agathic" and you needed to murder another person for tissue.
(Reminds me a little of how most UFO movies inspired the image of the gray alien, instead of the other way around.)

Theoretically, Cryonics could take you to the future where Nano Medicine could revive you and reset your age to an indefinate 23 yrs of age. You would not be immortal but you could live many many millions of yrs. The laws of statistical avg say that eventually massive trauma or natural event will eventually get you. IE lazer blast to head, massive solar flare, or explosion. Relative immortality?

Ok, I think I would rather take the few wrinkles compared to drinking the live chicken embryo. EW

Something to do with gland harvesting. Heather Goldsmith gave me a copy of Parker's Paranoia article. If you're really interested, I'll dig it up and post more here. In order for some people to achieve immortality, they must kill others.

i would have thought all that hatred in their blood would have shortened their lifespans.

Joanne Parker wrote an article for Paranoia Magazine, claiming that Nathan Bedford Forest and the founders of the Ku Klux Klan discovered the secret to human immortality. THen they faked their own deaths so nobody would know the KKK knew the secret to eturnal life.
