My complete, utter and absolute respect goes out to whichever highly evolved being ripped this from VHS. This is truly historic.

The sound drops out momentarily in some parts, but it matters not. Actually in this particular clip I've overdubbed a big gap in Oxygene 5, it's very obvious but better than 90 seconds of silence.

14th July 1979: Place de la Concorde, Paris.

... Jean Michel Jarre staged his first concert - a music, sound and light extravaganza, attracting an audience of over 1 million.

... This, the largest ever concert audience, would earn him his first entry in the Guiness Book of Records.
